The Romance Writers of Southern Connecticut (RWSC) (formerly CoLoNY) is a local chapter of Romance Writers of America, an association of almost 10,000 members, both domestic and abroad. Founded and incorporated in 2001, RWSC is a non-profit organization of writers — published and unpublished — dedicated to learning and sharing the craft of writing, understanding writing as a creative business, providing information about the publishing industry, and supporting our members through each step of their creative journey. Several of our members are published in various genres: romance, mystery, historical, paranormal, and even non-fiction. RWSC provides benefits to members at all stages of their careers. Our meetings include workshops and critique sessions for those interested.
Non-members are welcome to attend two meetings to learn more about our diverse and friendly organization. After two meetings, membership is required.
